XFarm Camping

With XFARM Camping we are opening up our doors to sustainable tourism, you will stay in a lot of 25 hectares of ground in the fields of San VIto dei Normanni in Contrada Paretone. We are a multifunctional farm with two lots of ground, each of circa 25 hectares that were confiscated to the Mafia. We use regenerative agriculture and develop cultural and social projects, by this means we are capable of generating work, well being for our surrounding community and an ecological positive footprint. We consider ourselves as a rural hub where good agricultural and social practices can be experimented. In the 25 hectares where you will stay, you will find olive groves, 10 hectares of lambrusco vineyard and a 1 hectare agroforestry that was recently planted. You will be able to place your tent beneath the olive groves and use both our compost toilets and open showers. As well we will provide you with a table and a non equipped kitchen. We therefore kindly ask you to bring your own cooking equipment. In the summer we organize community events in which if you would like you could take part of. Our farm is in the middle of Alto Salento and really close to the Natural Reserve of Torre Guaceto, a perfect location to come and relax or to visit the nearby beauties. In the middle of Alto Salento, it is easy to reach the Valle d'Itria, the Basso Salento and some of the 9 Natural Parks of the region of Puglia. If you are traveling around, it is a perfect place to have as a base and move around. Otherwise if you would like to relax, the nearby beaches, towns and cities are beauties to enjoy
