Parking area in Taormina

I provide designated parking area for campers and tent and caravan sites. The space is located 3 kilometers from the Giardini Naxos highway exit, 1 km from the Alcantara station, and only 3 km from the wonderful beaches and coastline of Giardini Naxos and Taormina. I make myself available for A/R transfers to the beach upon request. The space is partly grass-based with gravel partly concrete with natural soil, surrounded by lemon, orange, peach and flower trees. Only some tent sites are shaded. Vehicles over 15 mt in length can be parked. Shared showers and toilets, wood stove, barbecue and children's games are available. Facilities available are water, lighting, electricity, washing machine, a reserved parking lot and breakfast. Outside you will find a table and barbecue to fully enjoy the camping experience. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, as well as solo travelers. Your four-legged friends are welcome. Taormina is one of Sicily's most prominent international tourist centers. Here you can visit the Greek theater, have a granita at the renowned BamBar or take a swim at Isola Bella. A 50-minute drive from Taormina, this site represents a geological curiosity. The Alcantara Gorges are more than 25 meters high and are no more than 2-4 meters wide. The uniqueness of these gorges lies in the formation of its walls, which are the result of several lava flows from Mount Etna. As the lava cooled in contact with the river water, it led to the formation of these particular shapes.
