Eco-sustainable garden sharing on a farm in the province of Gorizia

The "Monte di Mezzo" farm in Peteano was born as an eco-sustainable project to reconvert the former military powder magazine and welcome endemic protected and endangered species (Carsoline sheep, Istrian goats, ornamental hens, donkeys, birdlife and burrows) with the aim of bringing visitors closer and making them aware of direct experiences, conducted on the farm and more precisely in the karst biotope that surrounds it. The spaces available to set up the tents are very large (about 1000 m), immersed in a small and welcoming flat clearing, completely surrounded by trees and far from inhabited centers and light pollution.

The services available are water, washing machine, wifi, a reserved car park, a playground and breakfast. You will have a shared fridge and bathroom. Outside you will find a table and a barbecue to fully enjoy the camping experience. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, but also solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome.

In this route we offer excursions to the trenches on Monte San Michele and where the Museum of the Great War is located, cycle tourism, uphill and downhill cycle paths and kayaking on the nearby Vipacco and Isonzo rivers.
