Rural Stone House

Our house is beautiful and large and is set in the mountain landscape of Marzi, 530 meters above sea level. The structure is made of stone and is located in a land of about 32 thousand square meters, including oaks, olive trees, chestnut trees and an area intended for the orchard. We offer a double room or an entire apartment. But the nice thing is that the house is all to live outside. Guests will enjoy several common areas that are well-kept, equipped and beautiful. We have a Cantina equipped with a kitchen, indoor tables for indoor dining, a reading area with armchairs and a video projector. We have a wonderful large covered terrace with a high and airy wooden canopy, with a spectacular view of the entire Savuto Valley. This area is equipped with hammocks, sofas and outdoor table as well as a barbecue, wood oven and also outdoor toilets. We also have a solarium area with lawn, outdoor swimming pool, showers, deckchairs and gazebo where you can relax and have fun in the water. Our guests will be able to take care of the common garden, go for walks and do individual sports. Probably you will also find other possibilities, since the structure is constantly evolving and improving both in terms of natural and accommodation. We are waiting for you! We are located at 530 m asl, in the province of Cosenza, Calabria. Our ready area is located in the natural area of the Savuto valley, with its rich vegetation. The Mediterranean nature, among woods and ancient villages, leads to an uncontaminated valley with the city of Cosenza to the north, the Sila Piccola mountains to the east and the Piani di Altilia to the west. To give name to the Savuto river, known by the name of Ocinarus and Sabbatus. In Marzi there is an area of vineyards for the production of "Savuto DOC" grapes. In Rogliano are found baroque architectures and sculptures. To underline a strong tradition in woodworking, so much so that in the eighteenth century it was famous as a cultural and artistic center thanks to the many stores of stonemasons who worked the tuff or "poor marble" and wood carvers. Cosenza is located at about 20 km.
