Camping in the green hills of Bari

A space immersed in the green of the hillside between the towns of Alberobello, capital of the Trulli, Castellana Grotte, and the sea of the Adriatic coast, Monopoli. The property is characterised by the presence of the abbey church of Barsento, an important example of Romanesque rock architecture, which dominates the entire promontory and overlooks a canal known as the Pirro canal. Your four-legged friends are welcome. North of Alberobello there are wonderful historic centres worth visiting. The closest old town to Alberobello is Noci, with its typical gnostre. These are dead-end streets, blind alleys, that dot the entire historic centre. In November, the gnostre are festively decorated for the Sagra delle caldarroste e del vino novello (festival of roasted chestnuts and new wine). Continue north to Putignano. The historic centre, circular in shape, is reminiscent of medieval towns surrounded by mighty walls. Archaeological studies recall that Putignano was a Peucetian city with cyclopean walls and later, in the 10th century, a new wall was built to face Saracen raids. Continue from Putignano to Castellana Grotte to visit the famous karstic caves. The White Cave, in particular, is a true spectacle of nature!"
