Glamping in the Ecovillage of Ragusa

In Donnafugata, in the province of Ragusa, in a quiet area surrounded by nature, there is an Anthropolistic Ecovillage under construction in which glamping, a camping with luxury tents, can take place. However, glamping is not the only activity that can be carried out in the Ecovillaggio Antropolistico: travellers can stay there, as free parking is available for cars. Travellers in camper vans can also find refreshment and make use of the electric socket not far from the ecovillage. This Anthropological Ecovillage covers almost nine hectares and is full of carob trees that shelter travellers from the sun. Like any ecovillage, the main objectives are to rediscover the values of ancient peoples in order to create a new paradigm that reflects the naturalness and happiness of the origins, leading a sustainable lifestyle for the preservation of our precious planet.

Among the free services offered by the Ecovillage are private bathrooms, outdoor tables and car parking spaces. In addition, there is a nearby electrical outlet where campers can be stationed. Everything provided by the Ecovillage is entirely ecologically produced: the paper is recycled, the cleaning products are environmentally friendly, renewable energy is used, the light and water distribution system is designed to save as many resources as possible, and the food is local, produced at 0 km. Electricity, drinking water, a shared kitchen and a washing machine can also be obtained for a small fee. The area is fully fenced and animals are welcome.

Not far from the property is Donnafugata, a cheerful Sicilian village where you can explore the local beauty and taste typical dishes. The local product par excellence is Donnafugata wine, which can be tasted in one of the many wine cellars in the village.
