Visiting Irpinia and discovering every nook and cranny is an experience that leaves its mark. Crossing mountains, plains, lakes and rivers immersed in a nature that fills the soul and heart. Here, as in the rest of green Irpinia, you can breathe healthy air and eat good food, such as caciocavallo, a typical product of the area. In the farmsteads of Lacedonia, this cheese is still produced as it once was. Monteverde is a small village situated on a 700-metre rocky spur. For some years now, it has been included in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy, because of its historical centre of Norman origin.
