Camping with a view in the province of Cuneo

"You can stay at a campsite in Villar San Costanzo, in the province of Cuneo. Here you will find a level lawn in the shade of three lime trees with a view of the Maritime Alps at an altitude of 600 metres. There is a fountain and at 200 metres you can eat typical Piedmontese dishes at weekends. You will have water at your disposal. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, but also solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome. The Stura valley follows the Stura river and is home to unspoilt nature, perfect for summer and winter outdoor activities: from rafting to off-piste skiing, from climbing to Nordic and alpine skiing, from somersault trekking to ice skating. Strolling around here, one encounters old alpine houses with stone walls and thatched roofs and the Sambucan sheep with their very tasty meat. Nearby we can visit the sulphurous thermal baths at Bagni di Vinadio and the Sanctuary of Sant'Anna (at 2035 m, the highest in Europe). The Natural Park of the Maritime Alps is another perfect place to relax in the green. There is no shortage of high peaks, over 3,000 m, including the Argentera (3,297 m), but there are also lakes, meadows and small glaciers that make the panorama varied and spectacular. Fauna and flora are rich, a true heritage to be preserved. Next to it is the Mercantour National Park (France) with which it is twinned."
