Tree house 'Rivendell' Wild Camping Paladini

Rivendell is a tiny treehouse with small double bed and terrace nestled in an ancient chestnut tree in the forest in the Appenine mountains. The treehouse is accessed by a flight of steps, and is close to communal bathroom with hot showers, kitchen and camp fire at Wild Camping Paladini. Paladini is a working chestnut flour farm and you are welcome to make your own chestnut flour pancake with our flour. Paladini is ideal as a base for walking in the mountains, and there is a river with a small waterfall and medieval bridge where you can cool off during the heat of a day. The swimming spot is 1.8 km down an ancient mule track from Paladini. There is a nice communal vibe at Paladini and you can choose to participate at mealtimes, to sing or chat with Colm and the volunteers around the fire in the evening. Alternatively you can have a quiet time on your own or with your family or friends, the treehouse is private and set away from the camping spaces. However you want to travel you will feel welcome and at home for the duration of your stay at Paladini. There is a mediation circle for small groups, a meditation platform in the forest for up to two people, a sauna if you want to prepare the fire yourselves, a table tennis table and a wonderful solar outdoor shower right in the midddle of the forest.
