In the heart of Sicily, our estate offers itself for the summer season as a place where everyone can have time to refresh, meet and discover culture and tradition. The estate is located a few kilometres from Agrigento and beautiful Palermo. We are close to the magnificent Valley of the Temples. Among the inland castles Fontanagrande is a meeting point where you can pitch your tent to get away from the chaos of the city. The services available are water, lighting, electricity, a washing machine, a reserved car park a fridge, a shared kitchen and bathroom. Outside you will find a table and a barbecue to fully enjoy the camping experience. We provide bicycles. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, as well as solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome. In the vicinity of the campsite you can visit numerous places of interest such as the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, the largest archaeological area in the world at 1300 hectares and a UNESCO site. Its riches include the remains of the Greek, Roman and early Christian necropolises, the agora, the mosaics on the surviving floors, the elaborate underground aqueducts and the majestic Doric temples that have survived almost intact to the present day. For nature lovers, the Parco Delle Madonie is worth a visit. The park is fascinating in every season and its paths offer unique landscapes. Precisely because of its geological features, it is included in the Unesco list of European geoparks. The activities that can be carried out here are innumerable: from horse riding to trekking during the summer season. In winter, Piano Battaglia becomes a renowned ski resort, perfect for skiing, snowbord and snowshoeing. A sport that has recently attracted great enthusiasts is sport and free climbing in the Castelbuono area."
