Take advantage of its proximity to the beautiful historical and artistic city of Otranto to visit the Clock Tower and its famous Aragonese Castle, which overlooks the sea. From the Bastione dei Pelasgi you can admire a splendid panorama. If you are in the mood for an excursion, you can visit the bauxite quarry, located a few kilometres from the sea: it is a fiery red lake surrounded by earth, very reminiscent of an extraterrestrial landscape.
