Our farm is located one kilometer from the medieval village of Masserano and enjoys an excellent position as a compromise between tranquility and access to services. The farm covers an area of about 6.5 fenced hectares, which guarantees privacy and security. It is spread over several levels: the lowest point is the cultivated field, going up you will find the farmhouse, the enclosures for the farm animals, the vegetable garden and the meadow up to the top of the hill, used as an orchard, from which can enjoy the panoramic view of the village of Masserano and the mountains of the Biella pre-Alps. Part of the property is made up of deciduous woods including splendid oak groves where you can camp with your tents.
Access is also allowed to your dogs, subject to notification at the time of booking as inside the property there are three dogs who are very affectionate with people, not always, however, with their own kind. The farmhouse includes a large wood-burning oven for pizza and bread and a large fireplace for cooking grilled meat, which are also available by prior arrangement at the time of booking. The services available are water, electricity, lighting, a reserved car park and breakfast. You will have an independent refrigerator, paying a surcharge. The experience is suitable for couples, families with children, groups of friends, but also solo travellers. Your four-legged friends are welcome.
The property offers the possibility to taste platters with home-made cured meats accompanied by local wines such as "Bramaterra" and "Gattinara", whose producing cellars can be visited and reached by car in a few minutes. The ancient village of Masserano, which can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, tells a centuries-old story since the Middle Ages: you can enter the alleys, along arcades and cobbled avenues, with the possibility of refreshment in a characteristic restaurant, the " Crooked Rooster Inn". On Sunday afternoons it is possible to visit, for a small contribution, artistic-cultural sites such as the museum, located in the Palazzo dei Principi, and some of the numerous churches thanks to the guides of the Massara museum complex. For lovers of two wheels, just a few minutes from the farm, there are the red banks, hills famous for their steep slopes suitable for downhill: on request it is possible to organize outings with expert guides and the possibility of renting muscle bikes or suitable e-bikes.
